Ready to develop your skills with the sewing machine? Join our new workshop and learn a number of essential sewing tips and techniques for beginner and novice sewers. Participants will learn a variety of skills including: seams (plain, french and flat felled), topstitching, hems (basic machines, blind, and hand-stitched) as well as tips for sewing curves and double needle stitching. There will also be a brief overview of the overlocker, some useful machine feet tips (e.g. the zip foot and blind hem foot) and some novelty attachments like the circle stitcher. Leave with complete a reference sampler containing the best examples of each technique for mapping out your next sewing project!
