Have a small snag list of home fixes slowly building – that squeaky door, crooked cabinet, or few dated light fixtures? Tackle that list and start building some basic DIY skills in this concentrated, hands-on workshop that guides you through the steps of several common home fixes including:
- Changing or tightening door/cupboard handles
- Assembly and repair of flatpack furniture
- Fix squeaky doors
- Adjust cabinet hinges
- Changing fuses
- Rewire/change a plug
- Replace a light fixtures
- Filling holes in walls
- Reseal tiled wet areas
Beginning with a straightforward tool induction, you’ll then learn the steps of assessing your DIY problem and determining how best to solve it. When you’re done have the knowledge and confidence to get to work on the fixes list your work your own home.
