Sew Your Own Backpack | 21 January – 11 February

Ready to build your confidence with the sewing machine? Join our new sewing course and learn some simple methods and techniques to produce this professional-looking roll–top backpack. Working with lifelong maker Nicola, you’ll learn how to use a basic pattern to lay out and cut your fabrics, moving onto 3-D construction while learning the basics of the sewing machine. The backpack is lined, with front pocket, back zip pocket and adjustable shoulder straps. You can bring your own fabric, or choose from a selection available at the workshop.
