Want to get confident using a range of power tools? Join EOW’s Workshop Manager, JJ, for 2 evening sessions where you’ll get to grips with drills, saws, sanders, routers, grinders & nailers.

Through live demonstrations, explanations, and an overview of common mistakes you’ll gain comprehensive knowledge and top tips from JJ’s 20 years of experience. Try out each power tool through hands-on practice tasks to gain the skills and confidence to tackle your own projects, with safe and successful power tool use.

Week 1: Drills, Saws and Sanders
Week 2: Routers, Grinders and Nailers

You’ll learn:

• Safe handling and operation of multiple power tools
• Which tool is right for which job, and which isn’t!
• How to identify and change different bits and cuttiing tools
• Common mistakes and what not to do
• Personal protection tips and tricks
• Confidence in power tool use

COURSE FEE COVERS

• 2 weeks of 2 hour sessions of guidance and support using power tools (4 hours total)
• All tools and test scrap materials to practice with are provided
