Join experienced prop maker and textiles tutor Nicola in this fun 5-hour course. Fulfil your most muppet-y dreams and create your own simple muppet-style hand and rod puppet.
Students will learn to cut and shape foam using a basic pattern to form the main head and mouth mechanism. The fur or fleece covering will then be cut and fit to the muppet, exploring appropriate glueing and sewing techniques. Create your own unique character, personalising your muppet using various different materials and creative techniques.
A fun way to get into making, sewing and constructing simple puppets.
