Intermediate Level

Build your own desk with a dovetail drawer while working with fine furniture maker, Anna of Aln Furniture. This course is for those who have either completed Introduction to Fine Woodworking and are ready for the next stage of their journey. Participants will further develop woodworking skills through learning; mortise/tenons, selecting, ordering and machining timber, dovetail joints, and designing turned or tapered legs. While all designs are provided, there is room to customise the design to make the desk your own!

Please note, materials are not provided in course and will need to be purchased separately – guidance will be given on what type, and where is best to purchase (where applicable, an EOW member discount code can be applied).

COURSE FEE COVERS

• 8 weeks of 3 hour sessions (24 hours total) of one-to-one tuition and guidance
