Have a piece of furniture that could be perfect for your home but needs a bit of decorative love? Join Jen of Happy Retro Furniture for a full day workshop where you learn how to choose the right pieces for upcycling, preparing your furniture for painting, designing, and functional finishing methods. Experiment with colours and pattern, while creating your own unique design and walk away with a new small vintage table. All materials are provided. No previous experience of furniture painting is necessary.
The workshop will include guidance on:
- The best methods of stripping/sanding
- How to prime vintage furniture
- Inspiration for design ideas
- Masking tape methods for geometric design
- Free hand mark making
- Protective finishes
