The Workshop

Use of the workshop is secured by completion of a general workshop and safety induction – this is free, takes about 20 minutes, and can happen on your first PAYG booking.

Outdoor Bay with Machine Access

A 4.5 m x 3 m workspace outside the workshop door, large enough to accommodate an extra long wheelbase van. Step-free access to the workshop. Portable lighting can be provided on request.

Yeti-Tool CNC with V-Carve

Please note – you must pass training and/or assessment before being allowed to access the CNC machine. You must continue to be supervised by our workshop staff in bookings following your training and/or assessment. The workshop staff will be there to support you until you reach a point at which you can operate the Yeti by yourself.

5m x 5m paint floor on the workshop mezzanine floor, available in any size combination, up to 5m x 5m.

 

Please note:-

  • The paint floor is accessed by 2 flights of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. We can accommodate painting and finishing in the ground floor fabrication bays if required. Please call the office to arrange this: 0131 555 6866
  • The hire of space on the paint floor is for one person. Another can join you for a small supplement. Please consider how you will work safely.

Fabric Table

A 100 cm x 60 cm desk and chair with a straight stitch machine with step-free access. You are welcome to bring your own machine. If it is more than 2 years old, it will need to have passed an electrical safety test. Call the office and we can arrange that for you 0131 555 6866.

Labour Support – Lift and Shift

Need a hand? Order your materials for delivery before your session, book a Delivery and Store session, we’ll unload, and store them for your session. Book a Lift and Shift session to get your van emptied or loaded quickly and safely, or to help you manoeuvre a bigger build.
