Looking for a space to get your printmaking on? We’ve got a new space just for you!
We are so excited to add a new space to make to our work space list!
In partnership with our resident member, Katie Charleson, current and new EOW members can now access to a fully equipped screen printing studio on a flexible, affordable, pay-as-you-go basis.
We think Katie said it best when she shared the news, so to shamelessly steal her words, “I hope it will become a place of skill sharing and growth, where we encouraging upcycling and mending, and using what you have.”
Who can book the space?
The space is bookable by all EOW members – like the workshop we ask that you have a free induction of the space with Katie to show you around the space and confirm you are confident in using the space and equipment. If at the induction it looks like you need a little extra support before working solo, you can join in any of Katie’s screen printing workshops or book a private advanced induction.
It will suit:
- those looking to expand on existing skills
- those preparing portfolios/samples
- artists
- designers
- small business owners
- merch printers & those readying stock for orders/retail
The space is set up for textile screen printing and includes the following equipment:
- Natgraph exposure unit 142 cm x 122 cm
- Washout bay 148 cm x 124 cm
- Textile printing table 315 cm x 146 cm
- Kärcher power washer
- A range of screens for both textile and paper printing
- Shelving and storage space
